We redesigned Hospitality Source's website using an image-led approach to reflect the high quality of their product offering.

The Client & The Need

Hospitality Source is a go-to supplier for the hospitality industry, sourcing and delivering everything from barware and tableware to lighting and décor. What sets them apart is the direct, personal experience they offer. Clients speak straight to the owner to curate their orders down to the finest details, ensuring that their venues have the best - straight from the source.

However, although their approach was highly personal, their Shopify website didn’t tell that story. The site lacked visual impact, its structure made browsing difficult, and its messaging didn’t capture the quality or individuality of the brand. It needed to become something the business could truly be proud of — a reflection of their reputation and an online showcase for the 1000s of products they offer.

The Project

La La Comms set out to transform Hospitality Source’s online presence into something the business could truly be proud of — a visual portfolio that captures the brand’s premium yet personal approach.

Our team enhanced the site’s visual storytelling, leading with immersive, image-driven content that showed the products in action within real hospitality environments. Using collage and gallery features, we built pages that feel alive and are a digital reflection of the creative spaces that showcase the unique product offering.

At the same time, we refined usability and flow. Over 8,000 products were uploaded, categorised into collections like Barware, Tableware, and Lighting, making browsing intuitive and inspiring. The new Wishlist feature allows visitors to save items and send their selections directly to the owner for better order management.

All in all our approach was to make the website stylish and functional, with a clear offering and navigation.

Key Visual Improvements

  • Gallery Page – A visually led showcase of products in action. By using image-focused layouts and collage features, the Gallery page highlights Hospitality Source’s products in real hospitality environments, making the site more inspiring and dynamic while instantly communicating quality and craftsmanship.


  • Product Categories – Clear, intuitive navigation from the homepage allows users to browse easily through collections such as Barware, Tableware, and Lighting. This structure makes exploring 8,000+ products straightforward and enjoyable, creating a smoother customer journey and helping users find exactly what they need faster.


  • Wishlist Feature – Visitors can save products as they browse, creating a personalised list of items they’re interested in. This wishlist can be emailed directly to the owner through the website itself, opening an instant line of communication and making it simple for clients to discuss their selections and begin the bespoke order process.


  • Scrolling Logo Section – A continuous carousel of partner and client logos enhances the site’s visual appeal while building credibility. It highlights the trusted names and major hospitality venues Hospitality Source has worked with, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for reliability and industry expertise.

The Impact

Hospitality Source’s website now mirrors the brand’s values — elegant, organised, and visually engaging. The redesign transformed how customers explore and interact with the brand online, turning the site into a visual showcase that feels as bespoke as the service itself.

  • Increase in sessions on the Collections landing pages year-on-year.

  • Growth in total site visitors compared to the previous year.

  • Noticeable rise in user engagement, with visitors spending longer on-site and exploring more pages per session.

The result is a digital storefront that not only highlights the full breadth of Hospitality Source’s offering but also reinforces its reputation as a trusted partner for venue owners and designers.

The Results

Site Visits - 1800% increase in total visitors year-on-year.


The new site design results are proof that the refreshed look, improved structure, and visually engaging layout attracted new audiences and encouraged existing clients to return. The site became something the owner could proudly share as a representation of her business.

Collections Pages saw a 1300% growth in sessions year-on-year.


The huge growth in sessions shows that the new categorisation system and homepage layout made it significantly easier for users to browse and discover products. The curated structure and clear visual presentation greatly enhanced both navigation and interaction across the site.
